RMC - YES WE CAN!

RMC Red Monkey one of the most sought out premium denim brand. It would be hard to find a better denim, and a better core material, or core denim philosophy anywhere else in the world.
Martin KSOHOH founder of RMC (and YOROPIKO) is actually a denim master and the king of denim art, Tailor made Limited edition collections of fine embroidery technology and three-dimensional embroidery production with attention to detail
He knows better than everybody else how to build and how to make perfect selvage denim (a rugged cotton twill textile, in which the weft passes under two or more warp fibers. This produces the familiar diagonal ribbing identifiable on the reverse of the fabric, so the edge of the fabric is woven specifically so that it will not ravel or fray. It seems pretty simple, but there are actually a very limited number of antique machines that have this ability, and they WERE all in Japan! ).
RMC denim are not as hype as PRPS one, maybe he's got a strong hiphop audience, and his denim are not really distasteful, with their flashy design. But don't forget he is the master.
Special limited edition jean has been created to celebrate new USA president. The OBAMA "yes we can" x RMC is a black denim. Martin specially create this particular denim to celebrate the occasion . To obtain that black colors. It is as usual a real Japanese salvage.
Obama jean will be available JANUARY 2009, Limited Edition black denim 75 only
Rev Al Green Band in Red Monkey Jeans

During a sell-out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, on 6th November 08, members of the Reverend Al Green’s band and dancers were seen rocking Red Monkey Jeans on stage. Shown is the Tengu design:
Tengu (Tengu “heavenly dogs”) are a class of supernatural creatures found in Japanese folklore, art, theater, and literature. They are one of the best known y?kai (monster-spirits) and are sometimes worshipped as Shinto kami (revered spirits or gods). Although they take their name from a dog-like Chinese demon (Tiangou), the tengu were originally thought to take the forms of birds of prey, and they are traditionally depicted with both human and avian characteristics. The earliest tengu were pictured with beaks, but this feature has often been humanized as an unnaturally long nose, which today is practically the tengu’s defining characteristic in the popular imagination.
Buddhism long held that the tengu were disruptive demons and harbingers of war. Their image gradually softened, however, into one of protective, if still dangerous, spirits of the mountains and forests. Tengu are associated with the ascetic practice known as Shugend?, and they are usually depicted in the distinctive garb of its followers, the yamabushi
Protective spirits and deities:
tengu mikoshi (portable shrine) in the city of Beppu, ?ita Prefecture, on Ky?sh?. The Shasekish?, a book of Buddhist parables from the Kamakura period, makes a point of distinguishing between good and bad tengu. The book explains that the former are in command of the latter and are the protectors, not opponents, of Buddhism - although the flaw of pride or ambition has caused them to fall onto the demon road, they remain the same basically good, dharma-abiding persons they were in life.
The tengu’s unpleasant image continued to erode in the 17th century. Some stories now presented them as much less malicious, protecting and blessing Buddhist institutions rather than menacing them or setting them on fire. According to a legend in the 18th-century Kaidan Toshiotoko (Kaidan Toshiotoko), a tengu took the form of a yamabushi and faithfully served the abbot of a Zen monastery until the man guessed his attendant’s true form. The tengu’s wings and huge nose then reappeared. The tengu requested a piece of wisdom from his master and left, but he continued, unseen, to provide the monastery with miraculous aid.

The new FULL WAVE jeans in various colors as well as selected styles of the YOROPIKO brand. Also a set of golden buttons and gem buttons were displayed in the middle of the shop in a large vitrine. RED MONKEY MAN

ALL RMC MARTIN KSOHOH DENIM JEANS ARE MADE OUT OF NATURAL COLOUR COTTON
“There is nothing revolutionary about Natural Colour Cotton. It has been around for millennia so it’s actually the case of yesterdays clothing today. This is the way nature intended, but we all lost sight of that. Now it’s time to start remembering.”: Martin Ksohoh Designer RMC formerly known as Red Monkey Jeans.
In the past, cotton plants naturally produced a wide range of coloured fibred, used by man without bleaching, dyes or chemicals. For over 20 years the Chinese have honed these ancient plants by a process of natural cross breeding to produce today’s useable plants
The natural colour is due to the plants inherent natural properties. Natural Colour Cotton is cotton that isn’t dyed but is actually coloured as it grows. It has the added advantage of being stronger in terms of tearing and is more resistant to abrasion and pilling. This is most likely due to the lack of processing that it goes through, as well as the improved staple length of the yarn.
RMC Martin Ksohoh denim with the use of natural Colour Cotton has been created with future generations in mind and only allow pure natural ecologically- and – environmentally friendly fabrics. Crops must be grown using only natural fertilisers and during garment production no harmful chemicals or chlorine are used. We believe that the next decade will define what is acceptable to wear next to your skin as well as what consumers are prepared to endorse from an ethical and environmental viewpoint.
Natural Colour Cotton is the most environmentally green fabric available. It is soft, delicate, none pilling and anti-static which results in less itching. Therefore, due to the absence of dyes and harmful toxics and chemicals, it is non-irritant to sensitive and young skin. In addition, the stronger, handpicked, more hollow cotton fibre traps warm air close to the skin, giving natural colour cotton thermal properties far superior to regular cotton.
They are also hardy and naturally resistant to pests eliminating the need for environmentally damaging pesticides and insecticides. The whole process from planting to growing to spinning to ready made garments uses no dyes, toxics or harmful materials. It is 100% pure, beautiful and primitively simple.
The refined elegant fabric has been referred to as second skin by experts. It contains rich vegetable proteins known to have beneficial properties for the skin. As opposed to chemical agents which can irritate the skin, it’s super smooth, soft and comfortable. The fabric is free to breathe, which in itself allows the skin to breathe.
It is the use of Natural Colour Cotton that makes RMC Martin Ksohoh jeans the most unique and sought after denim in the World today.

YOROPIKO LADIESWEAR:

Hong Kong based rock star Candy Lo is the face of the forth-coming Yoropoiko ladieswear collection which will be launching in Europe very soon.
Before going solo Candy Lo was the lead vocalist in Hong Kong based rock band Black & Blue. Before the band released any material, they used to perform independently of Black & Blue as a band as well.
In 1998 Candy Lo was signed to Sony Music, thus starting her solo career. Her first release under Sony was an EP called Unnecessary To Want..Perfect Can Be Terrible (不需要..完美得可怕). For this record she won a Golden Award[1] in the same year. The style of this release continued on from her rock past with Black & Blue. In winter 1998, Candy released a second record called Miao, the title of which refers to Candy’s love of cats and how “they listen while people sometimes don’t.” The album didn’t sell as much copies as expected. Producer Kubert Leung blamed the public, who “failed to grasp the concept of the album”.
Lo’s 3rd album, Get Close To Candy Lo (貼近盧巧音), released in 1999, set itself apart from the mainstream music that year by adding a philharmonic orchestra to her mix of rock and pop. In 2000 Candy Lo again released 2 records, Colour Release (色放) and Muse. In July 2001 Candy Lo released Fantasy. Fantasy contained the radio hit The Sword And Spear Don’t Enter (刀枪不入) as well as Call (呐喊), the theme song for the movie Final Fantasy. Lo’s 1st compilation album titled Like To Love (喜歡戀愛) was also released in the year.
The release of her 2002 album Appreciate The Taste Of Life (賞味人間) marked Candy’s career with her first smash hit Better To be Apart (好心分手) for which you collaborated with fellow singer Lee Hom Wang. Promotional picture of “Candy’s Airline”On April 26, 2003 Candy’s Airline (糖果航空) is was released. In that same year Candy released a concept album titled Flower Talk (花言.巧語), which combined mellow as well as more upbeat tunes with a classical hint to them. Three months later Candy Lo released True Music 1st Flight Live 2003, a collection of live renditions of songs released between 1998 and 2003 plus a few covers such as Wong Jim’s Forget Him (忘記他), made famous by Teresa Teng. All of these were performed during a concert in Hong Kong.
Promotional picture of “Evolution Theory (天演論)”Evolution Theory (天演論) released in 2005, was the last album she recorded before parting company with Sony.[5] It is less mainstream than her previous two albums.[6] However, like Flower Talk, this album deals with spiritual issues such as the uncertainty of the future in Junk Girl Of Dystopia (敵托邦的拾荒姑娘) and departure in Sutra For Seeing Souls Off (送魂經). On June 11 2007, Candy Lo released her 10th album “Process” after joining her new record company “WOW Music”. Candy Lo is the first artist to release USB flash memory digital album in Asia. Process contained radio hit “Can’t Even Love”(愛到不能). Her mandarin song “Run Slowly” (走慢點) is also available at Candy’s website at http://candylo.hk which has a hit rate of more than 200,000 times.
